The answer is Christianity.
As it gets newer, it gets worse. We try to change it to make it more relevant, modern, and mainstream. In that process, parts of it become compromised to be more mainstream. As a result, Christianity keeps being deviated from its original form.
People who change Christianity have ended up nowhere except as a misrepresentation of Jesus. People who, for example, claim that "God hates a, b, c, etc." are used to generalize all Christians as the way they are. Christians have been deemed hateful, homophobic, and even snobbish just based on observations of those who aren't the true representative of Christ.
That is not what Christianity should be...the more it deviates away from its original beliefs and values, the more we lead people away from the real words of Jesus.
Some people end up preaching only about fires and brimstones, while missing out on the love and eternal life aspect of what Christ has offered for us.
Some people disagreed or did not like a part of the Bible so they formed their own groups with their own beliefs.
Some people have gone to claim that you can make a supernatural into a natural by memorizing a formula.
All of this has to change.
There was a book I read that I got from Anime Expo 2013 that said what I said perfectly:
"We missed the point. It's all about God's love."
Let's see salvation happen. Let's see Jesus coming into hearts and lives of people.
Let's see fears and miseries end. Let's see rejoicing and celebration happen.
I want you to see Jesus, the real Jesus. Not me and my thoughts, but the real Jesus.
