"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
I just came back from Korea where I saw the most magnificent day (or more like, an hour or two) of snow. It was the most fantastic thing I feel like I saw throughout my year, even though it wasn't the first time. There was just instant peace at the sight of such a natural wonder amidst the freezing winter. What made this much more magnificent was the sight of children drawing images and their names on a snow piled onto a car (it reminded me of my childhood when I did such a thing too).
There are probably less than 10% of those in California who saw legitimate snow falling out of the skies. I know people of SoCal try so hard as to go to the mountains or make fake snow just to see snow. What draws people to this thing? Maybe it's that people in California have never seen snow. Maybe those that did, want to see it again.
In literature, snow has often been used to represent purity. The color white itself has also been seen as a sign of purity more than anything else.
Like snow, most of us may never have seen Jesus and want to see Him with our eyes. We want to feel what He is all about.
We can feel the power of snow on children by giving and trusting in Jesus, here and now.
Most of us may live our lives never, ever seeing snow as well...
